Vauxhall ADAM R2 Wins British Junior Rally Championship Round Two - The Circuit of Ireland

The Vauxhall Motorsport Junior Rally Team had a fantastic result at the Circuit of Ireland Rally, based in Belfast.

Rob Duggan and Ger Conway took maximum points on the British DMACK Junior Rally Championship in their Vauxhall ADAM R2, and are now leading the championship.

Duggan, who is a member of Motorsport Team Ireland, was relentless in his pursuit to ensure he placed first Junior BRC at his home event. He finished the first day leading the DMACK Juniors, and continued to lead the BRC Juniors for the entire duration of the event with 9 out of 14 stage wins.

We asked Rob what the key was to winning the Circuit of Ireland?

"Lots of practice!  We came with the intention to win, we put in a lot of effort over the last couple of weeks and thanks to the Vauxhall Junior Rally Team, they have done a great job preparing the car and we are just delighted to get the win."

Rob, how does it feel to win?

"Ah this is our big one, our home event so it's very special, it'll take a couple days to sink in I think! It's been a great weekend, we're absolutely delighted, we did what we wanted to do"
